Universal Compatibility & Connectivity
Polaris is designed to connect to all cameras across all physical layers and electronic communication protocols. Zero configuration is required, because each connection behaves like a copper cable: you plug it in and the signal comes out the other side. Similarly, operators and technicians shouldn't need to adapt, as every connector is familiar, and each port has been located in a convenient position for real-world setups.

Native Connectors & Signals
Natively connect all conventional cables to their usual ports on cameras, lenses or other devices - Polaris treats each connection just as a copper wire would behave.
Up to 450W @ 2 km: Long-Range, High Power
Polaris base stations can be configured to transmit 4500W over long distances, allowing major cinema camera systems the power and voltage required for normal operation. Alexa 35 can be operated in native 24V power mode via a simple battery adapter plate.

Identical to standard broadcast cameras, operators can use muscle memory to manage Dual-Channel Intercom, Tally and Return signals
Polaris allows for extremely simple and quick deployment of comms systems, perfect noiseless analog and digital audio at every single camera location. All NIPROS analog connections are instantly and independently connected from the flypack to any camera channel with zero latency or compression.

Plug and Play 4W and 2W with full ClearCom / RTS Native Compatibility
Without any adapters or digital conversion, 2W or 4W intercom systems can be connected directly to Polaris using full-size connetors, without any digital artifacts or delays. Additionally, analog audio directly from a microphone-with or without phantom power-is transported instantaneously to the base station as if the audio mixer was directly connected next to camera
When a 2W system like ClearCom or RTS is connected to Polaris, the system will automatically supply beltpack power, allowing for quick localized subnets or other ad hoc comms expansions. Dedicated headset connection with native XLR4pin just makes everything simpler for Operators.
