Ultralight Camera Adapter for Mobile / Remote Operated Gimbal Cameras

VEGA

VEGA transforms lightweight gimbal cameras like the DJI Ronin 4D into compact remote broadcast camera channels. Vega system has a multi-format 12G-SDI input and a re-clocked 12G-Return Output. Connect different video signals on completely indepedent channels, and built-in 4W I.F. function without digital delay or complicated setup, plus Serial & LANC camera control ports, and wet and dry tally connections.

Dual-input 12g , 12G Return, lightweight camera adapter system with complete camera control connectivity

Full 12G-Capable: 1 Input / 1 Return

Parallel Multi-Format Transmission: 12G/6G/3G/1.5G/SD/Analog + GENLOCK (2L, 3L), Comms, TC, LANC, TALLY, Serial, etc.

Zero-Delay Camera Control

Supports Control Via LAN, Serial 422/232 Systems with native 8P Sony RCP and LANC (2.5φ),

Ultralight Magnesium

Lightweight material keeps camera setups nimble while maintaining durability

Rugged Magnesium Chassis

Lightweight material keeps camera setups nimble while maintaining durability.

No Latency, Zero Processing

All channels are independent, so analog signals like Genlock coexist alongside multiple different video formats.

Re-Clocked Outputs

Re-Clocked RETURN & Through-Out allow longer BNC cable runs from camera stations.

Optically-Isolated Zero-Delay Comms and Tally

NIPROS Orion system has control capability for every possible camera system. New Camera systems are cross-purpose capture platforms, each with changing interfaces and protocols for camera and lens control. Orion focuses on providing crews with native connectors and signals for maximum speed and convenience in the heat of production. Use familiar off-the-shelf cables instead of searching for proprietary breakout squid cables. Orion offers a dedicated 8pin SONY RCP connector, a 12P Serial Connector, 1GbE RJ45 and an independent LENS channel which can be connected to CCU/RCP Lens Port or used independently with CMotion Knob Solo Broadcast setup.

2RU Half-Rack Base Station

VEGA BASE STATION

Vega's lightweight compact basestation equipped with every camera control interface for modern workflows, and all the connectors are dedicated native ports: 8p Sony RCP and a LANC port for camera control. Camera input channel has dual mirrored 12G-SDI outputs and 12G-SDI Return Channel has one output. The SDI outputs are re-clocked and provide a zero-latency output with a ideal waveform matching exactly the input. Timecode + loop-through, Reference input, and a D-SUB 25pin connector for wet and dry Tally inputs + 4W Intercom with Voltage-style intercom connection via BNC and Operator HS XLR4P connector and controls on the front of the Station. Despite the small form factor, the Orion Base Station includes dual power inputs, with an AC IEC connector input and a 4pin XLR DC input for varying workflows as well as optional secondary redundant AC power input.

The front side of the station has quick-read status display, as well as physical intercom control dials which allow technicians to keep their eyes on the prize while using muscle memory to adjust their audio mix and levels. Finally, a full-size XLR-4Pin supports the connection of a headset using the native connector directly into the front of the station for easy comms to each camera channel.
